H & H Group Plc have invested £4.8m in providing a new Food Hall, 11 industrial units and just under 300 car parking spaces on a newly laid out and Tarmacadam surfaced development site. The very challenging former landfill site underwent large scale ground improvement works.
The Food Hall has been let to Pioneer and there is good interest in the industrial units and contract parking spaces.
Johnston & Wright were the architects for the main site with Architects Plus being appointed by Pioneer, RG Parkins advised on structural and civil engineering matters with Tweddell & Slater appointed by Pioneer and with Cundall and Desco advising on mechanical and electrical designs.
Works were undertaken by Thomas Armstrong Ltd.
Hyde Harrington provided Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer services.
The project completed in February 2019.
