Spa development at Lodore Falls, Derwentwater

Lake District Hotels Ltd have invested over £9m in The Lodore Falls Hotel at Derwentwater. The creation of 18 new bedrooms, a brasserie, a function suite and state of the art spa which includes a rhassoul, loconium, salt cave, saunas and an infinity pool with views across Derwentwater to Catbells with construction either side of Watendlath Beck, this follows over £1.0m of flood damage sustained by the hotel in December 2015 upon which Hyde Harrington also advised.

Unwin Jones Partnership were the architects and Cundall  advised on all structural, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering matters.

Hyde Harrington  provided Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer services.

Practical Completion took place in October on the new spa development.
